Face 2 Face
Face 2 Face runs schemes across the UK with a network of trained, volunteers who are all parents of disabled children themselves. Parents who have discovered that their children are disabled are put in touch with volunteers in an informal and flexible way. This helps parents to come to terms with the incredibly strong feelings that are associated with the realisation that their child is disabled.Getting involved with Face 2 Face is of great benefit to many parents, both as someone seeking friendship and support and also for those who volunteer through this scheme.
