Searching for information

This is a quick introduction to using the Special Families forum.  Its a great tool for finding out more about the experiences of other Special Families users and perhaps sharing a few of your own.

The forum is accessed from the menu on the left of the screen.  Click on the link to enter the forum, or alternatively you can use the web address http://forums.specialfamilies.org.  The screen you see shows a number of different categories for the chat on the forum, plus information such as the latest person to join and the latest post on the forum.

First, you might like to search the forum for something you are interested in finding out about, for example mainstream education.  Type "mainstream education" into the search box in the top right of the screen and click the Search button:

You are now shown a list of search results ordered with the most relevant at the top.  Click on the first title under the Subject column to view the information:
