First, some news on the education front. We have met with our local MP who was really helpful and couldn't believe the situation surrounding our daughter's placement. She said that if the situation was not resolved immediately that she would refer our case to the Minister for Education, so we could be on the news yet! It turns out that the problems with therapy provision are contrary to the Children's Act, so fingers crossed something will be sorted soon.
Second, I'd like to discuss the way Doctor Who has progressed recently. When my son used to get frustrated trying to get his K Frame up a step or over a bump I used to tell him "Don't worry love, the Daleks can't do that either and they nearly took over the Universe...". So what have the BBC gone and done? Now the blinking Daleks approach the step and just fly up into the air over it. Upgrades in technology like this should be properly thought through - what am I supposed to say to my children now? Unless of course rocket packs for K frames are just round the corner. Now there's an idea...
