Support Groups

Support Groups pictureOne of the best ways of coping with a special needs family is to find and join one or more support groups. They can help you to get to know other families and people in similar situations to your own, provide advice from experts and may be able to provide assistance with purchasing equipment. There are many national support groups of which a few are listed below, some for specific disabilities and some apply to all special needs families. Please let us know if there are any support groups you use which are not listed, in our experience small local support groups are often excellent but they're hard for us at Special Families to find out about outside our own area.
